No Training wheels for this girl!

About a week after Lucas's back surgery, Emma asked to have her training wheels taken off her bike. We tried to talk her into waiting until daddy could help steady her and run behind, but she was very persistent so I took her training wheels off and hauled my prego body behind her for a few minutes and then off she went. She really took to it right away and I would just have to help her start. Within 15 minutes she was starting on her own and using her brakes to stop.

Day 1 without training wheels! Here the kids are a few days later at the walking/biking path at a nearby park.
